Years ago, I travelled cross-country to spend a week painting a mural of Winnie the Pooh characters in my nephew’s nursery, shortly before his birth. As I was finishing the painting, my brother casually pointed out that one day my nephew would not want Winnie the Pooh on his walls anymore. Sure enough, when my nephew turned 6, Pooh Bear and the gang said goodbye.

I have painted several murals over the years and have found that they present several problems. First, the artist must work on location, which can be inconvenient, not to mention messy! Second, people relocate or their needs change, meaning that murals often must be left behind or painted over.

I created Wall Poppers to address each of these issues by offering customers everything needed to easily create their own murals with a 3-dimensional "pop." Wall Poppers are light-weight, decorative wall hangings of 1/8- to 1/4-inch thickness that can easily be moved and re-positioned as needed. The designs are available in sets by theme and may come with stencils coordinated to provide a background.
